MLI provides multicultural education and training to health and human service professionals to provide them with the information and tools they need in order to provide culturally appropriate, and respectful communication, services and programs, to foster the best possible outcomes for all persons. In doing so, professionals will be able to work towards health equality and to reduce and eliminate the preventable health disparities /inequalities that exist within and amongst groups experiencing problems.

We also work to train and diversify the workforce, to increase the number of individuals who represent historically under-represented groups in the health fields.

Through education, we attempt to transform the personal, organizational and environmental factors that underlie these disparities and to promote positive changes.
